Tony “Touch” Zawisza was born in 1984 in Toledo, Ohio. He attended Regina Coeli grade school where he often got in trouble for doodling in class. During his high school years at Central Catholic, doodling turned into a passion for graffiti. He also did murals for various sports teams and had a comic strip in the school’s newspaper. After graduating in 2002, Tony decided to quit the graffiti scene and move onto something more professional (and less illegal) - tattoos.
In the summer of 2003, Tony landed an apprenticeship at Needle Masters on Reynolds Rd. Upon completing his apprenticeship two years later, he continued tattooing there for an additional three years. In those years, Tony developed his own style of taking classic tattoo imagery and mixing in some of his graffiti roots. Eventually, Tony realized he had learned all he could at Needle Masters and needed a change of pace.
In 2008, Tony was offered a position at Infinite Art and he gladly accepted knowing he’d be working alongside some of the best tattoo artists in Toledo. The laid back and positive atmosphere at Infinite Art has allowed Tony’s skills and passion for tattooing to grow to new heights.
Tony enjoys doing bright/bold colored tattoos with dramatic lighting. He also welcomes original and random ideas. Tony’s personality allows for an easygoing atmosphere and he always welcomes cheesy, laffy-taffy jokes.
